Conference Overview

The Gauteng Department of Education Further Education and Training Directorate under the auspices of the Office of the National Ministry of Higher Education and in partnership with a range of private and public sector role-players, have embarked on the hosting of the 2nd Annual National FET College – “Building on 20 Years of Democracy in Education” – Conference. It will be held on 8,9,10 October 2014, at the Walter Sisulu Square,Kliptown, Johannesburg, South Africa. The Walter Sisulu Square in Kliptown is the famous location where South Africa's founding document - "The Freedom Charter" was collated and accepted as a a development vision for a future South Africa. Having this important conference at this historic location is therefore profound in every sense.
